About this video

You made a mistake. A big one. And now you are stuck. Not just stuck in the moment of the mistake, but stuck in the regret that followed. You replay it in your mind. You imagine different outcomes. You judge yourself harshly. And somewhere in all of that replaying and judging, you have lost something crucial your ability to expect good from Allah.

This is the trap. Not the mistake itself. But the regret that keeps you prisoner long after the mistake is done.

Here is what happens: You mess up. You should feel remorse that is healthy. But then remorse turns into shame. Shame turns into self-condemnation. Self-condemnation turns into hopelessness. And suddenly, you are not just regretting the mistake you are regretting your entire self. You are convinced you are broken, that you do not deserve better, that Allah is disappointed with you.

But this is a lie you are telling yourself. And it is keeping you stuck.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us something critical: "Do not despair of Allah's mercy." Not because mistakes do not matter. But because Allah's mercy is bigger than your mistakes. Your sin is not bigger than His forgiveness. Your regret is not bigger than His compassion.

The real mistake is not the action you took. The real mistake is getting trapped in regret so deep that you stop believing Allah can still guide you forward. Because the moment you stop expecting good from Allah, you have given up on yourself.

You need to understand the difference between regret that leads to change and regret that leads to paralysis. One is productive. One is destructive. One moves you forward. One keeps you stuck.

This video is your permission to let go. To move on. To stop punishing yourself for what Allah has already forgiven. To reclaim your right to hope. Because staying stuck in regret does not honor your mistake it dishonors Allah's mercy.
