About this webinar
We spend so much of our lives searching for happiness: in relationships, achievements, answered duʿāʾ, financial security, success, or simply waiting for life to finally become easier. But what if happiness does not begin where we think it does?
Join this free two-hour webinar to discover what the Qur'an reveals about true happiness, inner peace and the meaning of a good life, and why having more does not always leave the heart feeling more fulfilled.
What you will discover
Why "I will be happy when" keeps us waiting
What happens when happiness becomes attached to the next thing we are hoping for?
Why getting what we want is not always enough
Why can the heart still feel restless even after receiving something it once desperately wanted?
Ḥayāh Ṭayyibah: what is the good life?
Discover the Qur'anic concept of a good life, and why it does not mean a problem-free life.
Where inner peace actually comes from
What does the Qur'an mean when it tells us that hearts find tranquillity in the remembrance of Allah?
What your happiness is attached to
A reflection on the people, outcomes and future events we may have unknowingly made responsible for our happiness.
The foundations of a content heart
